Natural language processing, usually abbreviated with NLP, trying to make
the computer is able to understand a command written in the form of language
everyday (in this article assumes that the language used is English
UK) and expected the computer also responds in a language that is similar to the
natural language. After the computer could understand commands in natural language,
then the expected computer systems can also provide a response in the language of
natural anyway. This paper is limited to not discuss how to generate
the response.
Keep in mind also, speech synthesis and speech recognition is not
the bafian of NLP. Natural Language processor ignore
how a sentence inputed to your computer. His job is to extract
information from the sentence. NLP can not be used alone, except in research. But
NLP provides a front end for other computer programs-especially
the database manager and generelized problem solver. Also to run the system
operations, a lot of research that leads to the NLP driven Operating System. And that
most important was the development of robotics, where interaction is required
effective between machines and humans.
